Thousands of lights at booths and trees will integrate Dilworth Plaza into the scenery of the illuminated city hall and the traditional Christmas tree. Christmas Village offers its visitors a unique shopping experience by visiting a lovely venue.
Fifty booths and two timber houses form a little Village and offer a wide and attractive range of seasonal goods which cannot be found anywhere else besides the market.
Thirteen outdoor booths will sell food specialties: bratwursts and grilled steaks, potato pancakes, crepes, soups and pretzels.
Booths for ornaments, specific ethnic minority offerings, candles, nativity sets, teas and spices, toys, woolens and jewelry with their relation to the winter and holiday season guarantee a high quality assortment in Christmas Village in Philadelphia.
There will be vendors of German Christmas decoration from genuine Erzgebirge, nativity sets from Bethlehem/Israel, glass ornaments, ceramic light houses, model trains, lace, spices, jewelry and a lot more.
A central stage will be the place for live performances of local choirs, orchestras and bands. There will also be a Santa's house and the official municipal Christmas tree including its tree lighting ceremony.
