Grand Opening 2009
Right in time for the Holiday season 2009 Christmas Village opened it's doors again on 11/26/09.
The Grand Opening Ceremony was accompanied by a String Quartett from Cara Mia and many more acts brought to the stage by our Partner Range Recording Studio and Philly Rising/World Cafe Live.
City Hall Tree Lighting Ceremony
This official kick-off to the Holidays in Philadelphia featured the ceremonial lighting of the City Hall Holiday tree by Mayor Michael A. Nutter.
Christmas Village offered live entertainment by the Cara Mia Big Band - The Jump City Jazz Orchestra and Peter Nero's Pops Festival Brass.
German American Weekend
German American Weekend featured special performances of the United German Hungarians, Susi Hartmann and Dancing Children and the Danube Swabians.
A highlight for kids was our Kids Latern Parade.
