Take a spin on the Christmas Village double-decker carousel, located in the heart of City Hall Courtyard! This classic, old-fashioned carousel offers festive fun for the whole family, with beautifully decorated horses, carriages, and reindeer to choose from.

For the safety of all our guests, children under 42" must be accompanied by a responsible, paying adult.

Since 2019, Christmas Village has featured a 65' high Ferris Wheel, located in the North Broad Section of the market and shining bright toward North Broad Street! Take a ride and enjoy the festive atmosphere, with the majestic City of Philadelphia Christmas Tree and a bunch of Christmas Village vendors nearby. It’s a fun place to take in the holiday magic from above!

For the safety of all our guests, children under 54" must be accompanied by a responsible, paying adult. Guests who are visibly intoxicated are not permitted to ride the Ferris Wheel. Safety first!

Choo Choo, all aboard the Christmas Village Express! This classic Kids Train, presented by SEPTA, brings joy to our youngest visitors and their families. Located right next to the Ferris Wheel in the market’s North Broad Section, our little train riders can enjoy the view of the Christmas Tree, the Ferris Wheel, and the festive market all around them.

For the safety of our youngest guests, children under 36" must be accompanied by a responsible, paying adult.

Weekdays bring an extra touch of magic for young passengers! Simply present your SEPTA card when purchasing a Kids Train ticket to get $1 OFF.

Yay! Our beloved mascot, Phil the Reindeer, is back at Christmas Village in Philadelphia!

Phil will make his grand first stroll through the market on Saturday, November 21, 2026, and he can’t wait to snap pictures and spread holiday cheer with all our visitors.

Catch him on Saturdays and Sundays between 1 PM and 4 PM and don’t forget to give him a big high five!
