We are excited that Santa will take a trip to Christmas Village! He is awaiting you and your family to take holiday photos.

Visit him from Fridays-Sundays from November 29^th until December 21^st:

• Friday and Saturday: 12 PM - 8 PM
• Sunday: 12 PM - 7 PM

Before Santa takes off for his big night, he’s spending a few extra days at Christmas Village to collect every last wish. Catch him on December 22^nd and December 23^rd from 12 PM - 7 PM and on Christmas Eve from 12 PM - 5 PM.

Looking for a romantic evening out or a cozy night with friends? Join us at Christmas Village for our beloved weekday Wine Tasting series, created in partnership with Mazza Wines. Settle into your reserved seat and let yourself be guided through a curated tasting of four distinct wines, each with its own story and flavor profile. It’s the perfect way to unwind, discover new favorites, and soak in the festive atmosphere of the market.

Get into the holiday spirit and get creative with our Holiday Greenery Workshop Series, presented in collaboration with Terrarium Therapy! Each week, you’ll have the chance to craft festive décor that brings a touch of seasonal magic into your home.

From a succulent globe with holiday accents to a fragrant eucalyptus wreath, and finally a sparkling centerpiece and a succulent tree, every workshop offers something unique and memorable. Whether you gift your creation or keep it for yourself, it’s the perfect way to celebrate the season!

Our Christmas Village double decker Carousel is located in the middle of City Hall Courtyard. This old school carousel is great fun for the whole family with its horses, carriages and reindeers to ride on. In an effort to keep everybody safe, we ask that kids under 42" are accompanied by a responsible, paying adult.

Since 2019, Christmas Village features a 65' high Ferris Wheel. The Ferris Wheel is located at the North Broad Section of the market and shines bright towards North Broad Street. The majestic Municipal Christmas tree of the City of Philadelphia as well as a bunch of Christmas Village vendors make it a fun place to be. Please note that kids under 54" have to be accompanied by a responsible, paying adult. Also, visibly intoxicated people are not allowed to ride our Ferris Wheel. Safety first!

Choo Choo, all aboard the Christmas Village Express! This classic Kids Train, presented by SEPTA, brings joy to our youngest visitors and their families. Being located right next to the Ferris Wheel at the markets North Broad Section, our little train riders can enjoy the vista of the Christmas Tree, the Ferris Wheel, and our market. To make sure that your kid is as safe as possible, we ask that kids under 36" are accompanied by a responsible, paying adult. 

Weekdays bring an extra touch of magic for young passengers. Simply present your SEPTA card when purchasing a Kids Train ticket to get $1 OFF

Yay! Our beloved mascot, Phil the Reindeer, is back at Christmas Village in Philadelphia!

Phil will make his grand first stroll through the market on Saturday, November 22^nd, 2025, and he can’t wait to snap pictures and spread holiday cheer with all our visitors.

Catch him on Saturdays and Sundays between 1 PM and 4 PM and don’t forget to give him a big high five!

Step into a sweet holiday wonderland with the Gingerbread Christmas Village, coming to the Festival of Trees starting December 1^st ! This adorable miniature version of the Christmas Village crafted from real gingerbread by the talented Philadelphian bakers at Bredenbeck’s Bakery is the perfect spot for festive photos and a delightful treat for the eyes – so make sure to stop by!
